Launch June 20, 1999

Tom's mom was out visiting for Fathers Day week. She was reminescing how she and her friends feared that Tom and his friends might hurt themselves when they were doing Estes and Centuri model rockets in the mid-1960's. Tom told her that there was to be a launch at the Coyote Wells test site, but he wasn't going to go since she was visiting. She said she wanted to go and see what 'big boys' play with.

So, Tom went out to the site that night to prepare the fuel loading, NOMAD rocket, and assemble the MOTers Launch Rail system. The next morning Toms family brought mom out in the air conditioned car long enough to witness the flight. The temperature was 110F.
